During our recent family vacation at Le Charles V Bed & Breakfast in Mersault, we were delighted by the thoughtful layout of our spacious room. It was cleverly sectioned to accommodate our family of four comfortably, with a cozy sofa-bed area for the kids and a super king bed for us that provided an excellent night's sleep—a rare find! Nadia and Michel-Henri were welcoming hosts, eager to share their knowledge about local wines. The complimentary glass of wine upon arrival was a pleasant surprise, and Nadia's informative wine tasting allowed us to immerse ourselves in the region's culture. We also appreciated the extensive cycling and walking routes available. One day, we explored a charming trail in Pernand-Vergelesses and enjoyed a picnic with breathtaking views of Corton Mountain. Not only did we enjoy delicious breakfasts, but the communal dinner prepared by Nadia was truly memorable. We even dreamed of the recipe for her delightful pork dish! Le Charles V offered a family-friendly atmosphere with engaging activities for all ages.
